Erb's Palsy is the paralysis of the arm resulting from damage to the upper group of the primary nerves supplying it, namely the upper trunk C5-C6 of the brachial plexus, is known as Erb palsy. - Obese or overweight pregnant mother.
- Diabetes in the expecting parent.
- Previous pregnancy with shoulder dystocia.
- Twin pregnancy
- Taking oxytocin or receiving an epidural during giving birth.
- Breech presentation of the child.
Physiotherapy Treatment for Erb's Palsy :
- Range-of-motion exercises and stretching can help keep your baby's arm, hand, and wrist from stiffening up.
- A joint contracture is a persistent stiffness in the joint, which is something you want to prevent in Erb's Palsy.
