Watch Your Weight

Extra pounds especially in your midsection will make your back pain worse by putting strain on your lower body. Maintaining an idea BMI will help solve this issue efficiently.

Stop smoking

Smoking will restrict the flow of blood to your spinal disc and eventually lead to disc related issues such as Slip disc which will cause low back pain.

Get a Good Sleep

If you are someone who experiences back pain talk to your physiotherapist about the best sleeping position. Usually sleeping on your side with the knees slightly curled up towards your chest is the best preferable position to sleep. If you prefer to sleep on your back put one pillow under your knees and one under your back. If you cant sleep any other way place a pillow under your hips.

Lighten Up Your Laptop Use

Many a times we are just so busy in our work that we rarely remember to move. Sitting in one place for too long can be exhausting for our postural muscles due to which there can be tightness , stiffness and sometimes muscle spasm which can cause a dull aching irritable pain in our lower back.

Check the height of your desk

If you are someone who does a desk job most of the time of the day then you must be aware of the height of your desk. It should not be too low or even too high. The screen of your computer should be within your
eye level. Taking some stretch break in regular intervals is the best way to ease out the pain and discomfort faced during long working hours.
